Integrated Production Services is currently seeking a Regional Safety Manager to join our team.
Summary
This position implements, communicates and trains district safety personnel in Health, Safety and EnvironmDental policies, trains district HSE personnel as needed and generally supports a culture of strong HSE standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
Reports directly to the Region Manager with a dotted line up to the HSE Director
Maintains an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the region to create a culture that promotes Health, Safety, and Environment as a core value
Directs resources and activities throughout the region to support HSE programs and training
Provides guidance and advice to Region and District Managers on HSE related topics
Ensure the region's Drug & Alcohol testing programs are conducted according to federal, state and customer requirements and ensures proper recordkeeping and reporting
Conducts site inspections and implements timely corrective measures if needed
Maintains and creates detailed incident/accident investigation records in accordance with Company and regulatory requirements
Provides regular written reports and updates to Management
Assists in the investigation of incidents as needed
Assists in the communication of lessons learned throughout the company and are incorporated in policy or procedure as necessary
Conducts or coordinates HSE training of district personnel on a regular, ongoing basis
Attendance at a quarterly HSE meeting in Houston will be required
Qualifications and Education Requirements
5 or more years in HSE related field
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong knowledge and ability to enforce all federal, state, local and Company regulations
Proven ability to train and educate others
Good computer skills including MS Office Suite
Knowledge of all HSE training required by government regulations
Ability to pass a standard MVR and background check
Willingness to be on-call and respond to safety situations as needed
Previous oil and gas industry experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in HSE related field of study preferred
ASP/CSP certified or eligible preferred
Previous management experience strongly preferred

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
